In that tab I checked the box for "run this program as an administrator" and then clicked apply. Then I went into the window that opened, I clicked on the "compatibility" tab. ![]() I right clicked on the VDJ8 executable file and clicked on 'properties'. UPDATE! ***PROBLEM SOLVED*** I decided to go into the VirtualDJ 8 directory in C:\Program Files (X86). The macbook has no problems connecting to the VirtualDJ Servers using the same wifi and the same account credentials for my VDJ 8 PRO account as I am trying to use on my Windows 10 PC. The laptop is a Macbook Pro with the latest version of OSX installed, I only use it for music with Ableton Suite 9 and Virtual DJ 8 PRO. The interesting thing is, I have my laptop I take to gigs with Virtual DJ 8 installed. Is there anything else I can do to make the program connect to the servers? I am paying for a PRO plan and want to use it on my PC. After all these changes, VirtualDJ 8 still says "cannot connect to virtual dj servers, please make sure you're connected to the internet". Port 80, 443, and others are already forwarded for TCP/UDP. ![]() I went in ESET Security Suite 8 and added IDS, HIPS, Firewall, and General exceptions for inbound and outbound connections from/to the VirtualJD8.exe file and set the app to be recognized by my router and let through. So I ran the plugin to fix the HOSTS file anyway, just to be sure, and it said "No changes to host file detected". ![]()
